UAE gas production to remain limited until 2027 ADNOC

Abu Dhabi, May 12 (UNI) The United Arab Emirates' main gas-processing complex, one of the world's largest, will not resume full capacity production until next year following damage caused by Iranian attacks during the recent war.
ADNOC Gas said its Habshan gas-processing complex, one of the world’s largest facilities and a key supplier of gas across the UAE, is currently operating at about 60 percent capacity, Al Jazeera reported.
The company expects to restore output to around 80 percent by the end of 2026, with full capacity projected to return in 2027.
In its first-quarter results statement, the company reported a net income of $1.1 billion, a 15 percent decline compared with the same period last year.
It attributed the drop to “increased regional uncertainty and difficult market conditions,” as the energy sector continues to be affected by instability linked to disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz,Al Jazeera reported.
The Habshan complex in Abu Dhabi has been hit multiple times during the conflict, with production halted on at least three occasions after falling debris from intercepted attacks triggered fires.
According to reports, Iran has carried out more attacks on the UAE than any other country during the war, targeting US-linked assets as well as civilian infrastructure, including airports and energy facilities.UNI AAB
